  • Submission of Registration form
  • Testimonials required:
    1. Copy of Birth certificate
    2. Copy of Medical Fitness certificate
    3. Copy of Residence proof
    4. Three Photographs of Child
  • Interaction of child and parents with the Headmistress (Pre Primary Wing) and Chairperson on the assigned dates
  • Updating the parents about the status of admission
  • After admission is granted, fees to be deposited within allotted time

I - XII

  • Submission of Registration form / F
  • Child will be required to appear for an informal assessment of Skill- Knowledge Index
  • Parents will be informed about the status of admission within 2 days
  • Interaction date with the Principal or Vice-Principal (will be given to parents on phone)
  • After admission is granted, fees to be deposited by the parent within allotted time

Shalom Hills International School, Gurugram offers rolling admissions. Parents and students can apply and enroll at any time during the year, subject to availability of seats in their desired classes. SHIS understands that families may need to relocate or enroll their children mid-year and strive to accommodate them as much as possible.

For any inquiries received either online or on the phone, parents are requested to fill out an Online Enquiry Form https://shalomhills.com/adm-enquiry.php. Depending on the family's requirements, a School Tour is scheduled, during which parents and students are invited for a guided tour of the school. If the parent is interested in continuing with the Admission Process, parents may go through the procedure for admission at - https://shalomhills.com/admission-procedure.html. They are then required to pay a one-time non-non-refundable registration fee and submit relevant documents. Placement Written Assessments are scheduled for students in Grades 1 -12, while Pre-Primary School students have a verbal interaction. After the written placement assessments are duly reviewed, the parents and student are invited to meet with the head of admissions, school Principal, and school Director for an interaction. Parents are expected to make honest disclosure about any special need of their child at the time of admission. Note - the term is differently used at two places - Placement Written Assessments and Written Placement Assessments.
If the Admissions Committee approves the student's placement, a fee invoice is raised which must be paid within 3 days of confirmation to secure a seat at SHIS.

Yes, the school accepts student applicants from other curricula. The school may require such students to undergo a placement assessment to determine their academic level and proficiency. Based on the assessment, the school will determine the appropriate grade level and program for the student.

We follow the Thematic and Integrated Multiple Intelligences curriculum at Primary and the CBSE Examination pattern at the Secondary level. At the Senior Secondary level a selection of subjects out of the CBSE list, are offered.

Regular updates are sent to the parents regarding the syllabus through the school portal and other communicative channels. Thus the parents as well as students are well aware about the various aspects of academics related to all the subjects well in advance.
