Below is a detailed, step-by-step guide outlining the admission procedure:

For Classes Pre Nursery to UKG (Ages 2.5 to 5)

Submission of Registration Form: Admission forms are available for collection at the school reception or can be downloaded from our school website.

Interaction with Child and Parents: Interaction will be scheduled with the HM along with the parents and the child to understand the child's overall development.

Admission Status Notification: Parents will be informed about the admission status.

Fee Deposit: After the admission is granted, fees must be deposited within the allocated time frame.

- Copy of Aadhaar Card (Father, Mother, and Child)

- Copy of Birth Certificate

- Copy of Medical Fitness Certificate

- Copy of Residence Proof

- Three Photographs of the Child

For Classes I to XII (Ages 6 to 18)

Submission of Registration Form: Admission forms are available for collection at the school reception or can be downloaded from our school website.

Informal Skill-Knowledge Index Round: Child will be expected to appear for an informal skill and knowledge assessment.

Admission Status Notification: Parents will be informed about the admission status.

Personal Interaction: Parents will receive communication regarding the interaction date with the academic team

Fee Deposit: Upon admission approval, fees must be deposited within the designated period.

Shalom Hills International School, Gurugram offers rolling admissions. Parents and students can apply and enrol at any time during the year, subject to availability of seats in their desired classes. SHIS understands that families may need to relocate or enrol their child mid-year and strives to accommodate them as much as possible.
For any inquiries received either online or on the phone, parents are requested to fill out an Online Enquiry Form https://shalomhills.com/adm-enquiry.php. Depending on the family's requirements, a School Tour is scheduled, during which parents and students are invited for a guided tour of the school.
If the parent is interested in continuing with the Admission Process https://shalomhills.com/admission-procedure.html, they are required to pay a one-time non- refundable registration fee and submit relevant documents. Placement written assessments are then scheduled for students in Grades 1 -12, while Pre-Primary School students have a verbal interaction. After the written placement assessments are duly reviewed, the parents and student are invited to meet with the head of admissions, school principal, and school director for an interaction. Parents are expected to make honest disclosure about any special need of their child at the time of admission.
If the admissions committee approves the student's placement, a fee invoice is raised which must pay the fee within 3 days of receiving to secure a seat at SHIS.
Yes, the school accepts student applicants from other curriculum. The school may require such students to undergo a placement assessment to determine their academic level and proficiency. Based on the assessment, the school will determine the appropriate grade level and program for the student.
We follow the Thematic and Integrated Multiple Intelligences curriculum at Primary, CBSE Exams pattern at Secondary and at Senior Secondary we offer Science, Commerce and Art (Humanities) streams.
Small class size and proportionate student-teacher ratio ensure that every child gets individual attention in the classroom. Additionally, at the primary level our thematic and integrated MI curriculum ensures that learning is individualized and designed to cater to the needs of all types of learners. At Secondary and Senior Secondary Levels, multiple methods of teaching are used to deliver the course content, catering to needs of each and every child. Furthermore, innovative academic strategies like concept reinforcement procedure and doubt file ensure that all doubts of the children are solved and each student is engaged in and is keenly participative in the learning process.

Regular updates are sent to the parents regarding the syllabus through the school portal and other communicative channels. Information related to activities, practicals, sample papers, practice worksheets, value-based questions, tools and techniques of assessment, blue print and marking scheme are also shared over the portal. Thus, the parents as well as students are well aware about the various aspects of academics related to all the subjects well in advance.

To ensure that the creativity of every child gets ample exposure and platform, we provide a range of co-curricular activities like music, dance, theatre (British), and art. Our school has a well-managed and actively functional Disaster Management Cell which conducts regular training sessions and mock drills for training and sensitising the students and teachers. Additionally, we also follow standard operative procedures in case of emergency evacuation. Furthermore, the school is well equipped with safety guards, fire-extinguishers and other safety equipment.

We have well defined standard operative procedures for ensuring the physical and emotional safety of every child. Our safety policy ensures that each and every child gets a secure and harmonious environment for their holistic development and ABC (Always Be Careful) of safety is followed in every aspect of school functioning. The school is under CCTV surveillance. We have security guards manning the gates and patrolling the premises. Furthermore, we have well trained lady guards in our buses along with school teachers on bus duty. The buses are equipped with a phone facility. Furthermore, there is police verification of all staff members before recruitment is finalised and all personal antecedents of the school employees are maintained in the school records.

Payments can either be made online by visiting Fees Payment or through UPI, Debit/ Credit card, cheque/demand draft. In case of payments by cheque/demand draft, student’s name and ID No. must be clearly mentioned on the reverse side of the cheque/demand draft.

Prospective students in Grades 1st – 11th undergo a written benchmark assessment test, assessing their proficiency in subjects.

We provide Day Boarding facilities only in our other branch, Shalom Presidency at sector 56, Gurugram.

Shalom Hills International School, Gurugram doesn't provide meal facility. We advise healthy meals from home to ensure quality and good nutrition for every child.

Shalom Hills International School, Gurugram doesn't provide personal access to CCTV.

Our buses ply all across Gurgaon. The bus routes are chalked out by the transport. Parents interested in availing the transport facility for their child need to contact the school and collect the necessary form. Each bus is equipped with CCTV and is GPS tracked.
