Shalom Hills International School successfully conducted MAT (Mathematics Aptitude Test) Round 2 for 86 selected students of Grades III and IV. Designed to challenge young learners beyond the regular curriculum, the assessment evaluated students’ logical reasoning, analytical thinking, mathematical aptitude, and problem-solving abilities through thoughtfully curated, age-appropriate questions.
Students participated with enthusiasm and demonstrated remarkable focus, confidence, and perseverance while solving problems involving number patterns, reasoning, and mathematical concepts. The assessment provided a meaningful platform for learners to apply their knowledge in unfamiliar situations while encouraging speed, accuracy, and critical thinking.
The programme also enabled teachers to identify students’ strengths and learning needs, supporting effective enrichment and targeted academic guidance. MAT Round 2 reaffirmed the school’s commitment to fostering future-ready learners equipped with strong analytical and mathematical thinking skills.
