The Junior School Investiture Ceremony of Shalom Hills International School was conducted with great enthusiasm and dignity, marking the formal transition of leadership within the student body. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the Sherpa & Vice Chairman – Mr Dennis George, along with the parents, symbolising hope, unity, and new beginnings.
The event featured a melodious choir presentation followed by a disciplined march past, reflecting the confidence and dedication of the students. A significant moment of the ceremony was the handing over of the school flag by the outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl, Anmol Sharma and Krisha Girdhar, to the newly elected leaders, symbolising the transfer of responsibility and trust.
The newly elected council members were then conferred with badges of office by the Vice Chairperson and Principal. The oath-taking ceremony inspired the young leaders to uphold their duties with sincerity and integrity. The programme concluded with inaugural speeches by the new Head Boy and Head Girl and a commemorative photograph with the dignitaries and staff.

It a momentous occasion that celebrated the transition of leadership within the student body. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by our Vice Chairperson (VC) sir and several parents, casting a hopeful, happy and collaborative glow over the proceedings. This was followed by an energetic and melodious rendition by the school choir, whose performance set an inspiring tone for the morning. Which was followed by a disciplined march past that showcased the students' dedication. A poignant and significant highlight was the handing over of the school flag by the outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl, Anmol Sharma and Krisha Girdhar, symbolizing the passing of responsibility to the next generation of leaders.
The formal investiture reached its peak as VC sir and Principal ma’am adorned the newly elected council members with their badges of office. Following the donning of these honours, VC sir led the oath-taking ceremony in a strong, commanding, and solemn voice, instilling a deep sense of duty in the young leaders. Once invested, the new Head Girl, Varalika Agarwal, and Head Boy, Vivaan Kak, delivered their inaugural speeches, expressing their commitment to serving the school with integrity. As a gesture of appreciation, the outgoing leaders presented a token of gratitude to VC sir—a beautiful planter holding a small sapling, representing growth and the enduring legacy of leadership.The ceremony concluded with a commemorative photograph featuring the dignitaries, house wardens, and coordinators, marking the beginning of a promising leadership journey for the students.

The Sports Meet opened with a ceremonial torch lighting and balloon release, symbolising hope and unity. A highlight was the impeccably coordinated March Past by the four Houses, demonstrating discipline and house spirit. Adding grandeur was a spectacular march past and drill display by a contingent of the 25th Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal, Ghitorni, which instilled pride and patriotism among students.
The programme featured the Oath Ceremony, cultural performances, and athletic showcases including yoga, karate, basketball, and cricket, highlighting teamwork, fitness, mindfulness, and women’s empowerment in sports. Track and field events saw enthusiastic participation across grades, with medals awarded throughout to recognise young achievers.
The grand finale celebrated the Promising Athlete, Best Athlete, and March Past winners, honouring perseverance and collective excellence. Concluding with a Vote of Thanks, Shalom Udayam was more than a sports meet — it was a celebration of aspiration, discipline, and holistic growth, where every stride reflected determination and every heartbeat echoed the promise to rise.

The cultural segment dazzled the audience with melodious carol singing, a meaningful Christmas skit, a soulful choir performance, and an energetic Western dance. The celebrations peaked with a thrilling Flash Mob by the Middle Wing and an exciting Draw of Lots, filling the air with cheers and excitement.

The cultural extravaganza began with the Vivacious Society’s enthralling choir performance, a melodious ode to the festive season.
