This year’s edition was particularly enriched by the inclusion of several novel competitions. These included Pixel Runway, a dazzling blend of fashion and futurism that brought forth the impactful voices of Generation Alpha; Kalpana Katha – Yugantar Ki Kahaniyan, a revival of narrative heritage through dramatized storytelling; Resonance – The Classic Revival, where the musical genius of the past was reimagined through youthful interpretations; Futurescape, a 3D design challenge that merged aesthetics with digital ingenuity; Gen GPT – iHumor, a witty interplay of human wit and artificial intelligence; and Paint-the-Future, an artistic duel between the handmade and the machine-made, posing the timeless question—who truly paints the future?

Shalom MUN: Harmonia is one of our most prestigious student-led initiatives. With a participation of over 500 delegates from top schools in Delhi NCR and beyond, it provides students with a dynamic platform to engage in thought-provoking debates, policy discussions, and diplomatic negotiations, shaping them into future global leaders.
Technology is the future, and ShalomTech is our initiative to nurture young innovators and tech enthusiasts. This event brings together students who have a passion for coding, AI, robotics, and futuristic technology, offering them an interactive space to explore, innovate, and push their limits.
The Grand Winter Carnival 2024 at Shalom Hills International School unfolded as a spectacular confluence of joy, tradition, and community spirit. The ceremonious candle-lighting by Respected MD Ma’am, accompanied by VC Sir, and Director Ma’am, an emblem of hope and joy, marked the official commencement of the festivities. Having officially declared the Winter Carnival 2024 open, VC Sir, in his inaugural address, eloquently extolled the unwavering contributions of all stakeholders—teachers, parents, and students—whom he lauded as the school’s pillars of strength.
The cultural extravaganza began with the Vivacious Society’s enthralling choir performance, a melodious ode to the festive season. The Rangmanch Society followed with a poignant skit and drama, weaving a narrative that celebrated the essence of Christmas and community values. The Nrityam Society then captivated the audience with an energetic and spirited dance performance that resonated with the joy of the season.
The event seamlessly transitioned into a series of engaging games and interactive activities, ensuring delight for participants of all ages. A mesmerizing musical band performance invigorated the audience, while a spellbinding magic show enchanted both young and old. Throughout the day, vibrant stalls offered an eclectic mix of culinary delights, books, and games, further enriching the carnival experience.
The crescendo of excitement arrived with the lucky draw, where attendees eagerly awaited the announcement of winners. The event culminated with an electrifying teachers’ flash mob dance, a surprise performance that encapsulated the spirit of unity and joy.
