With the gracious benedictions of our revered Founder and Chairperson, Dr. Mrs. Lilly George, and under the visionary guidance of our esteemed Sherpa & Vice Chairman - Mr. Dennis George, Shalom Hills International School proudly collaborated with Mindler for the second successive year in its continued pursuit of excellence in career guidance and student development.
The orientation and formal launch of the program were adeptly conducted by Mr. Abhishek, Associate Vice President – Global Education & Strategy at Mindler. The session aimed to apprise students of the platform’s launch while underscoring the critical importance of career and strategic academic planning over the course of the academic year.
Participants were introduced to one of the most advanced career assessments—an instrument meticulously designed to evaluate key personal dimensions such as interests, aptitudes, emotional intelligence, personality traits, and learning orientation. Students will engage with this tool upon receiving their login credentials, marking a pivotal step in their career exploration journey.
Furthermore, attendees were taken through a comprehensive walkthrough of the Mindler student dashboard, which includes an array of features such as the Career Assessment with in-depth analysis and top five career matches, a detailed career report, the Virtual Internship Program (VIP), as well as an extensive career library, blogs, vlogs, and a suite of planning and research tools.
Conclusively, Mr. Abhishek offered insightful mentorship, encouraging students to reflect deeply on the purpose behind their academic pursuits and to make informed choices about their educational paths. He emphasized the necessity of diligent research during the university application process—advising students to verify whether affiliated colleges offer their chosen disciplines, evaluate institutional ratings, and consider geographical factors to ensure alignment with their academic and personal aspirations.
