“The beauty of Indian culture lies in its festivals and celebrations. The more you praise and celebrate life, the more there is in life to celebrate.” To emphasize the significance of Indian festivals, the students of Class IV D conducted a special assembly on Dussehra with great enthusiasm and devotion. The assembly commenced with the Lord’s Prayer, followed by the Shloka, Thought for the Day, and the Mission and Vision of the school. The students then presented a short skit depicting Lord Rama’s triumph over Ravana, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. Their expressive performances and vibrant costumes captivated the audience. Adding colour and rhythm to the celebration, the children also performed a lively Dandiya dance, filling the atmosphere with festive energy. A poem on Dussehra, beautifully recited by the students, further enhanced the spirit of joy and devotion. The assembly also included interesting facts about Dussehra, showcasing how the festival is celebrated in different parts of India. Through their heartfelt presentations, the students conveyed the timeless message of truth, courage, and righteousness, inspiring everyone to follow the path of honesty and goodness. The programme concluded with the Shalom Anthem and the National Anthem, leaving the audience enriched with pride for India’s rich culture and traditions.
