An AI Integration Workshop for Educators, aimed at enhancing teaching effectiveness through AI-driven tools and forward-thinking pedagogy, was facilitated by our visionary Sherpa and Vice Chairman, Mr. Dennis George. The session brought together educators to explore innovative approaches for integrating artificial intelligence into classroom practices while preserving the essential human touch in teaching and learning.
The workshop focused on equipping teachers with practical tools and strategies to enhance lesson planning, streamline content creation, and boost student engagement. Emphasis was placed on blending technology with creativity to ensure meaningful and impactful learning experiences.
The resource person, Mr. Willibrord George, introduced a range of AI-powered tools and their creative applications, including song and lyric generation and immersive storybook creation, enabling better student comprehension through rich and engaging narratives. The session also highlighted the use of AI in maintaining PTM records and academic documentation, making administrative processes more efficient.
A hands-on activity enabled teachers to design lesson plans using structured prompts, reinforcing practical understanding. Educators were also introduced to the Discover – Develop – Deploy framework for effective AI adoption and were guided on creating custom AI bots for academic assistance. Tools like Heygen were showcased for AI-powered video creation and communication.
Sharing the strategic vision, VC Sir emphasised the importance of nurturing a structured growth journey for every child, with special attention to silent learners. AI was positioned as an enabler for personalisation and efficiency, not as a replacement for educators. The school aims to evolve into an assistant-enabled system where technology complements strong human insight.
Teachers were encouraged to act as champions of change, driving innovation and inspiring the learning community. The workshop marked a significant step towards building a dynamic, inclusive, and future-ready educational environment.
