The World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) is a global academic platform that celebrates the joy of learning while fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and effective communication. The 2026 theme, “Are We There Yet?”, challenged students across four events—Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge, and Scholar’s Bowl.

The Gurgaon Regional Round, held from April 11–14, 2026 at Pathways School, brought together over 2,000 students from leading schools across Delhi-NCR, transforming the city into a vibrant hub of academic excellence.

The historic success achieved by our students at the WSC 2026 is a direct manifestation of the holistic educational philosophy championed by Shalom Hills International School. Under the visionary guidance of our Founder, Dr Mrs Lilly George and the steadfast support of our Sherpa & Vice Chairman – Mr Dennis George, the school continues to provide platforms to enhance the skills of the students. Their unwavering commitment to academic excellence and character-building has empowered our scholars to step onto the global stage with unmatched confidence and grace.

This year, the Shalom Hills delegation saw an unprecedented expansion, fielding a massive contingent of 127 scholars (60 Super Juniors, 24 Juniors, and 43 Seniors). Through rigorous training and mentorship, our scholars dominated the Gurgaon Regional Round, bringing home a staggering, record-breaking total of 764 Medals (524 Gold, 240 Silver) and 26 Trophies.

Division-Wise Highlights:

  • Super Juniors: 339 Medals (225 Gold, 114 Silver) and 7 Trophies
  • Juniors: 155 Medals (104 Gold, 51 Silver) and 12 Trophies
  • Seniors: 270 Medals (195 Gold, 75 Silver) and 7 Trophies

Beyond accolades, the experience enriched students with interdisciplinary learning, global awareness, and essential life skills such as teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. This exceptional achievement has qualified a majority of teams for the Global Round, marking a proud moment for the school and reaffirming its position as a leader in academic excellence.
