Shalom Hills International School organised a series of Role Play and Poster Making activities for students of Grades VII and VIII to promote awareness and responsible attitudes towards road safety. Held under the National Road Safety Mission and themed Sadak Suraksha: Jeevan Raksha, the initiative aimed to sensitise students to the importance of safe and disciplined conduct on roads as pedestrians and future drivers. Through creative and visually engaging posters, students conveyed key road safety messages, including traffic rules, safe pedestrian practices, helmet and seatbelt use, and responsible behaviour on public roads. Their work showcased artistic talent along with a strong sense of civic responsibility and social awareness.

The role plays and skits added an experiential dimension to the programme. Students enacted realistic scenarios such as traffic congestion, reckless driving, and pedestrian negligence, highlighting the consequences of unsafe practices. The performances reinforced
values like patience, alertness, and adherence to traffic norms. The activities witnessed enthusiastic participation and teamwork, enabling students to learn through reflection,
expression, and interaction. Overall, the initiative strengthened their understanding of road
safety and encouraged them to become informed, responsible, and conscientious citizens committed to safeguarding themselves and others on the road.
