Shalom Hills International School organised an engaging hands-on training session on Google for Education for the Shalom faculty.
The enriching professional development programme brought together over 100 teachers, reaffirming the school’s commitment to empowering educators with contemporary digital skills and innovative teaching practices.
Led by Mr Sudhir Rana, the session offered practical insights into Google Meet, Google Classroom, and other digital tools that can transform everyday teaching and learning. Through interactive demonstrations, teachers explored creating and managing assignments, designing engaging quizzes, developing personalised websites, and leveraging digital resources to enhance classroom experiences.
A key highlight was the introduction to Google’s Level 1 and Level 2 certification pathways, encouraging educators to pursue continuous professional growth. The session also showcased innovative approaches such as embedding multiple-choice questions within YouTube videos and using interactive quizzes to promote participation and deepen conceptual understanding.
The session culminated in a highly enriching professional development experience, equipping faculty members with practical 21st-century digital competencies and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
