With the exalted benedictions of our illustrious Founder and Chairperson, Dr Mrs Lilly George, and under the discerning and strategic aegis of our Sherpa & Vice Chairman - Mr. Dennis George, Shalom Hills International School unfurled the majestic canvas of its much-anticipated Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025–26 with resplendent glory and ceremonial grandeur.
This momentous occasion, steeped in tradition and gravitas, bore witness to the formal investiture of the newly constituted Student Council — a cohort of young visionaries poised to lead with honour, valour, and unswerving commitment.
The ceremony commenced with the invoking of the Lord’s blessings and a melodious rendition by the school choir. The Shalomites paid a heartfelt tribute to their revered MD Ma’am, whose indomitable spirit, unwavering guidance, and inspirational stewardship continue to illuminate the path of Shalom’s ascent and transformativelegacy.
Gracing the occasion was our esteemed Sherpa & Vice Chairman Sir, whose wisdom, foresight, and sagacious leadership remain the enduring lodestar for the entire Shalom fraternity. In an act rich with sacred significance, the ceremonial lighting of the lamp was performed by Hon’ble VC sir, witnessed by the proud and beaming parents of our newly appointed leaders — a poignant tableau underscoring the profound synergy between home and institution in sculpting the leaders of tomorrow.
Marching smartly to the beat of the drum, the student body took their places on stage, ready to be formally vested with their positions. The apotheosis of the ceremony was the stately and solemn passing of the mantle. The outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl, embodying magnanimity, conferred the symbols of office — the sashes — upon their successors, thereby entrusting them with the legacy of excellence, integrity, and perseverance. The newly anointed leaders, in their earnest and evocative acceptance addresses, unveiled their vision and solemn pledge to uphold the school’s venerable ideals.
Subsequently, each member of the Student Council was ceremoniously adorned with sashes and badges — emblems of responsibility, honour, and trust. With hands raised and hearts resolute, they took the oath to serve with fidelity, to lead with humility, and to honour the rich heritage of their school.
The Investiture Ceremony stood not merely as a function, but as a resounding affirmation of Shalom Hills International School’s unwavering commitment to cultivating enlightened, principled, and inspired leaders of the future.
