Shalom Hills International School, in collaboration with Edlearn Consultants, organised the Shalom Career Summit 2026 to empower students with the knowledge and insights necessary to make informed decisions about their higher education and future careers. The Summit witnessed the participation of 251 students, providing them with a valuable platform to explore diverse academic opportunities and emerging career pathways.
The event brought together representatives from 42 universities, educational institutions and career-support organisations, offering students exposure to a wide spectrum of disciplines, including business and management, engineering, sciences, liberal arts, design, fashion, hospitality, international education and professional courses.
Through direct interactions with university representatives, students explored undergraduate programmes, admission requirements, eligibility criteria, scholarships and career prospects. These conversations encouraged them to ask pertinent questions, evaluate available options and reflect on how their interests, strengths and aspirations could guide their academic choices after Class XII.
Student feedback highlighted the value of engaging directly with institutional representatives and seeking clarity on prospective courses and career pathways. It also identified opportunities to enhance future editions through longer interaction periods, broader institutional representation and greater inclusion of specialised and emerging career domains. The Summit reinforced the importance of informed career planning and proactive exploration of higher-education opportunities. By connecting students with relevant academic institutions and resources, the initiative supported the development of decision-making skills, confidence and future readiness.
Shalom Career Summit 2026 marked a meaningful step towards nurturing informed, confident and aspirational learners, reaffirming the school’s commitment to holistic development and purposeful career guidance.
