With the gracious benedictions of our revered Founder, Dr Mrs Lilly George, the visionary stewardship of our esteemed Sherpa & Vice Chairman - Mr. Dennis George, the Shalom Group of Schools had the singular honour of magnificently organising its annual academic and cultural extravaganza—Shalom Conclave 2025. Enshrined in the powerful and forward-looking theme ‘Futurence’, the conclave ushered in a celebration that was as thought-provoking as it was aesthetically resplendent. The conclave bore witness to the spirited participation of a distinguished constellation of premier educational institutions, converging at the Shalom campus with unwavering zeal and creative ardour. This year’s edition was particularly enriched by the inclusion of several novel competitions. These included Pixel Runway, a dazzling blend of fashion and futurism that brought forth the impactful voices of Generation Alpha; Kalpana Katha – Yugantar Ki Kahaniyan, a revival of narrative heritage through dramatized storytelling; Resonance – The Classic Revival, where the musical genius of the past was reimagined through youthful interpretations; Futurescape, a 3D design challenge that merged aesthetics with digital ingenuity; Gen GPT – iHumor, a witty interplay of human wit and artificial intelligence; and Paint-the-Future, an artistic duel between the handmade and the machine-made, posing the timeless question—who truly paints the future? Throughout the conclave, the air was electric with intellectual energy and artistic vibrance, each event transforming the venue into a vibrant crucible of youthful brilliance. Presiding over the competitions was a panel of distinguished adjudicators—eminent personalities drawn from diverse walks of life—who brought their discerning judgment, deep wisdom, and generous encouragement to the proceedings. In a touching display of humility, grace, and camaraderie, Shalom Hills International School, the proud host of this majestic conclave, chose to share its laurels with the immediate runner- up, thereby celebrating collective triumph over solitary accomplishment. Numerous participating schools proudly garnered accolades across the wide spectrum of events. The zenith of the day’s celebration was marked by Lotus Valley International School lifting the coveted Rolling Trophy, basking in the glory of well-earned recognition amidst resounding cheers and admiration. As the curtains drew on this magnificent confluence of art, science, performance, and futuristic thought, Shalom Conclave 2025 stood triumphant—a testament to the boundless potential of young minds. It concluded not as an event, but as an experience—resonant and radiant with hope for a luminous tomorrow. The spirit of Futurence lingers on, kindling anticipation for an even more grandiloquent and transcendent edition in the year to come.
