Shalom Hills International School conducted a Go Sharpener Orientation and Action Planning Meeting on 3 August 2026 to strengthen student participation in sustainability initiatives and promote effective use of the Go Sharpener platform.
The session introduced the platform’s objectives, key features, and its role in encouraging student-led sustainable development projects. The school’s Impact Profile was also reviewed, helping the team identify current achievements and areas for further growth.
During the discussion, various strategies were proposed to enhance student engagement on the portal. It was decided that students would be encouraged to take on the role of Sustainability Ambassadors, spreading awareness among their peers and promoting environmentally responsible practices within the school community.
The meeting emphasized the importance of undertaking meaningful sustainability activities and regularly documenting them on the platform to increase the school’s overall impact and visibility. Plans for a felicitation ceremony to recognize active participants were also shared, along with innovative month-wise activity ideas to ensure sustained engagement throughout the academic year.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to conduct regular review sessions to monitor progress, introduce new initiatives, and maintain momentum towards achieving the school’s sustainability goals through the Go Sharpener platform.
