Raksha Bandhan is a festival which celebrates the bond of affection between brothers and sisters. It is a day when siblings pray for each other’s well-being. Children celebrated this festival by making their own Rakhi in the school.

Children were extremely thrilled to learn how to do the super easy static electricity experiment. After running a plastic comb/balloon through their hair, they placed the comb/balloon near small bits of paper and observed that those small pieces got stuck to them. They were explained that these induced an opposite charge in the paper. As opposite charges attract, the paper gets attracted to the comb/balloon.
