With the benign blessings of our revered Founder, Dr Mrs Lilly George, and under the visionary stewardship of our Sherpa & Vice Chairman, Mr Dennis George, the Shalom Group of Schools proudly hosted the fourth edition of SHALOM MUN – HARMONIA 2026 at Shalom Presidency School, Gurugram. Designed to nurture enlightened global citizens, visionary policymakers, and empathetic leaders, the prestigious inter-school Model United Nations conference brought together over 550 delegates from 12 leading schools across Delhi NCR and Gurugram under the theme “From Global Tensions to Collective Solutions.”

The conference commenced with a grand inaugural ceremony featuring the ceremonial lamp-lighting and inspiring addresses by Mr Dennis George; Ms Geetika Batra, Founder of GoldFish PR; Ms Latha Sundaram, Founder and CEO of Questa Talent Solutions; and Brigadier Jagmohan Varma, President of the Baithlon Association of India. Their insightful deliberations highlighted the importance of diplomacy, ethical leadership, and global responsibility. Over two enriching days, delegates engaged in thought-provoking debates across 13 committees, addressing critical global issues such as international security, artificial intelligence, environmental sustainability, human rights, the global economy, nuclear policy, labour rights, healthcare, and legislative inclusivity.

The International Press documented the proceedings through journalism, photography, and caricature, while 40 Executive Board members ensured academic excellence and adherence to parliamentary procedure. The conference was successfully organised through the dedicated efforts of the Executive Board, Organising Committee, Core Faculty Coordinators, and the support of valued sponsors. Sustainability remained a key focus through plastic-free practices, digital documentation, eco-friendly décor, and responsible catering. The event concluded with a grand Valedictory and Award Ceremony, where outstanding delegates were honoured with accolades including Best Delegate, High Commendation, Special Mention, and Verbal Mention. Amity International School, Sector 46, Gurugram, received the Best School Delegation Trophy. More than a conference, SHALOM MUN – HARMONIA 2026 reaffirmed the Shalom Group of Schools' commitment to nurturing principled leaders, informed global citizens, and changemakers equipped to shape a more peaceful and sustainable world.
